Ravi Vinayak, PhD | Partner

Dr. Ravi Vinayak joined Ventac Partners in August 2006.

Prior to this he was running a successful consulting business serving several Life Sciences organizations across the globe sharing his vast knowledge and experience in technology transactions, alliance management, licensing, strategic planning and negotiations.

Dr. Vinayak started his industry career as a Scientist at Applied Biosystems where he spent more than sixteen years in increasing responsibilities eventually leading to a role as a business development executive where he led, managed and directed interdisciplinary team effort in conducting business analysis identifying clear and compelling cases for licensing, partnering, or acquisition of new technologies.

Dr. Vinayak obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Alberta, Canada, and did his post-doctoral research at The California Institute of Technology, California. Ravi has authored over 40 publications and patents and contributed to several book chapters relating to Nucleic Acids Chemistries and technologies.
