Madeline Yap | Partner
Dr. Madeline Yap joined Ventac Partners as Partner in November 2009.
Prior to Ventac, Dr. Yap held industry positions at Quintiles, a global leader in pharmaceutical contract research services, and Covance, one of the world’s most comprehensive drug development services companies. In Hong Kong she was engaged as the Commercialization & Development Manager at the technology transfer company of the University of Hong Kong; Assistant Director at the Biopharmaceutical Development Centre; and, the Business Director, Greater China at an international medical communications and marketing firm.
Dr. Yap brings extensive experience gained in Asia and Australia including proven cross-cultural operations and management skills. She has expertise in bringing together both the scientific research and commercial worlds through understanding the academic demands of innovative research projects versus the business and industrial requirements needed for success.
Dr. Yap received her PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Sydney, Australia. Also, she holds post-graduate management qualifications from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management, Sydney and Certificates in TCM from Xiamen University, China.
